Carly James was visiting the park to see if she could meet some new people. She was pretty new to Sunset Valley still and didn’t know many people. As she walked into the park’s entrance, she saw a little boy walking over to the swings. Carly decided to walk over and talk to him. She then saw a young woman who she assumed was his mom and walked over.
“Hi, I’m Carly James. I’m new to Sunset Valley.”
“Oh, hi. It’s nice to meet you. I’m Sarah Shockley. Welcome to the town.”
“Thanks. Is that your son by the swings?”
“Yes. That’s my little Andrew.”
“Aw, he’s adorable.”
“Thank you. Well, I hate to cut our meeting short but I must be getting home. It was very nice to meet you.”
“Same with you.”
Carly smiled as she watched Sarah and Andrew walk to their car and go home.
With Carly wanting to be a Journalist, she decided that it would be best if she began on her Writing Skill. She sat down in front of her computer, turned it on, and opened up her word program. She began typing away, not even thinking about what she was typing. It would be a good head start into her future job.
Over at the Davis house, Brendan and Kaleigh stood in the kitchen and had a chat.
“I think we should have a get-together here at the house with the kids.”, suggested Kaleigh as she looked at Brendan.
“I completely agree. I mean, we may not live very much longer. We need to spend as much time with them as we can.”
“I also want to invite that sweet girl that just moved into town. Her name is Carly. I think her and Ryan would get along great.”
“Now, Kaleigh, don’t go playing match-maker. Let Ryan find his own girl.”
Kaleigh sighed as she looked down. “Alright.”
When everyone began arriving. she looked over her shoulder to make sure that Brendan wasn’t looking and walked over to Ryan.
“Hi sweetie. There’s someone I’d like you to meet.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. You see that girl over there by the sink?”
“Yeah..”
“Her name is Carly. Go say hi, chat her up some.”
Ryan walked over to Carly and introduced himself to her.
“Hi, I’m Ryan.”
“Hi. Carly.”
They both exchanged handshakes as they smiled.
“Nice to meet you, Carly. that’s a lovely name. So, you’re new here right?”
“Yeah. Just moved here a couple of weeks ago.”
“Nice. Well, maybe we’ll see each other again sometime.”
“That’d be nice.”
A few weeks after the get-together, Brendan passed away from old age. Kaleigh was so heartbroken. She decided to hold a funeral service at her home. All of her friends and family were invited. She saw Carly and walked over to her.
“Hi sweetie. Thank you so much for coming.”
“Oh, it’s no problem, Mrs. Davis.”
“Please, call me Kaleigh. We’re good friends.”, she said with a warm smile.
“I am so sorry for your loss. I know that you and Mr. Davis were very much in love with each other.”
“Yes we were. We were inseperable ever since we first met. I’ll always remember the good times we had together.”
“That’s what you should do. Well, I’m here if you ever need anyone to talk to.”
“Thank you, Carly. That means a lot.”
A day or two after the funeral, Darnell went over to Kaleigh’s house. Sarah suggested that she live with them so that she wouldn’t be all alone. So as Darnell and Kaleigh talked, he asked her to move in with them.
“Hi, mom!”, Sarah greeted with a hug.
“Hi, honey. It’s so nice of you to have me move in with you three.”
“It’s no problem. We didn’t want you to be all by yourself in that big house.”
“Aw, that’s really sweet of you.”
They exchanged another hug as Sarah showed Kaleigh to her room.
About a Sim week later, Kaleigh was sitting on the couch, watching TV while the others were in the kitchen eating breakfast. She then turend the TV off and stood up, feeling a presence near her. Sarah and the others rushed into the living room as Kaleigh turned into a lifeless spirit. They knew her time was up. The house filled with the noise of cries as they watched the Grim Reaper take her away. Sarah knew she had to hold a funeral service for her, but it was going to be hard, considering that Kaleigh was her mom.

It was almost time for Prom to come up and Andrew didn’t have a date. He thought about the girl he met at school, Ichelle Berrios. He thought about calling her up and inviting her over. To much to his surprise, she said sure, she’d be over in a few. After a few minutes of talking, Andrew worked up the courage to ask her to Prom. He was so excited when she said yes!
Tonight was the night! It was the night that Andrew would become the happiest guy in the world. Ichelle came over to the house to catch the limo with him. They went to the dance and had the best time of their life. During the dance, Andrew and Ichelle shared their first kiss and he was asked if he wanted to go steady with her. He didn’t hesitate to say yes.
